GiftMate - Shop Online at Half the Price

Offer: Shop Online at Half the Price

Validity: offer is valid till Mar 20, 2008. Voucher can be used for 1 year in multiple purchases.

Description: You can buy vouchers worth Rs. 250.00 to Rs. 2000.00 for half the value of the respective voucher online on GiftMate. There are four choices available:

  • Rs. 250 voucher for Rs. 125
  • Rs. 500 voucher for Rs. 250
  • Rs. 1000 voucher for Rs. 500
  • Rs. 2000 voucher for Rs. 1000

You've two payment options for buying the vouchers at GiftMate - Credit Card and Net Banking.

GiftMate is a voucher on your mobile which can be used to pay for online purchases without having to divulge any credit card details. All you have to do is enter your mobile number on the screen and authorize the payment with your 4-digit Pin which you get at the time of buying the voucher. You can even carry forward the un-used amount for your next purchase or top-up your existing voucher balance.

There are around 3000 online portals which accept GiftMate vouchers for online shopping. This includes popular portals like Rediff Shopping, Future Bazaar, Sify mall, Indiaplaza, Indiatimes, Ezeego, BookMyShow, etc.

I think the process of getting the GiftMate voucher is also not very cumbersome. If you're planning to buy something which you can easily buy online as well on any of the above mentioned portals then you may certainly think of utilizing this opportunity. You should get an SMS instantly with your redemption PIN and other details via email soon after paying the money at GiftMate portal. You just need to fill in few mandatory details and then pay either by Credit Card or via Net Banking. As is the case with many other offers, you can't club it with any other offer run by PayMate. Remember that you can avail this offer only once, so you may prefer to buy a large denomination. This voucher can be used over the next 1 year in multiple purchases. Not everyone feels comfortable buying everything online. But, air ticket bookings, hotel bookings, etc. are normally preferred to be done online only. The validity of the voucher is also 1 year. And I think, its applicability to be valid for multiple purchases makes it even more attractive. What do you say?

Interested? Visit GiftMate - Shop Online at Half Price to get the voucher before March 20, 2008.

I have used two different mobile phones to get two vouchers worth Rs. 4000 for Rs. 2000. I am planning to buy gift vouchers(gift certificates) and suggest you to do the same. In this way, you can bypass online shopping hazards.
One more thing, when you transact for "Half the Price", after succesfull credit card payment from CCAvenue, it shows "Error occured during transaction" message. This is a bug with giftmate site and you are going to get the voucher safely to your account.

Yes, I have transacted atleast five times. And GiftMate people are using CCAvenue for transacting money, which I think is a renowned company in this area. Amny other sites use services provided by CCAvenue for their online transaction requirements.

amit: I believe, ashutosh has already asnwered most of your queries. You can go for this offer without all these concerns. I've tried it myself and didn't find any problem, except the one mentioned by ashutosh... it shows an error after the transaction gets completed at CCAvenue, but it doesn't do any harm... so nothing to bother about. Thanks for posting your queries. I'll be happy to answer any relevant query in future as well. Keep visiting/posting :-)

ashutosh: Thank you. I really appreciate your participation here. People like you will take this blog(s) to great heights. Please carry on the nice work.

amit singh: Thanks for your encouraging words. According to me it's pretty safe. Their site is already having so many online security certifications. They do all the monetary ransactions via CCAvenue - a big name in this field. I've used CCAvenue while paying my bills elsewhere as well like Picsquare. It's worked nice for me and for many of my friends as well. So, I personally don't see any harm :-)
